Oil Barrel Prices Continue to Climb

Author: Lance Winslow

Oil Barrel Prices hit new World Record Highs at $76.70 and they are expected to hit $80.00 a barrel in short order and some Chicago commodity traders are thinking more like $85.00 per barrel? Can you say $4.00 per gallon gasoline prices? Could be.

But why the price spikes you ask? After all there have not even been any Hurricanes in the Gulf Coast yet? Well you can expect one as early as next week, as we already have two in the Pacific right now.

But also consider if you will the tensions in the Middle East between Israel, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and the International Terrorist Groups of Hamas and Hezbollah? And also this week we see an Italian owned pipeline in Nigeria getting hit with two explosions. Oh but there is more, in fact the flooding in Pennsylvania took out a refinery too. Indeed you can expect Oil Barrel Prices to continue to climb.

Many families are crying at that pumps already trying to fill up their SUVs and mini-vans. Summer vacation travel is also less now. It certainly is not a pretty site at all and if we end up in another Middle Eastern War you can expect $85.00 per barrel prices. And that is before the first major Hurricane of the 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season. Ready or not he come those high gasoline prices. Consider all this in 2006.
