There is a major part of dating, which at times we overlook Romance on the Rebound. If your immediate past relationship was a short-lived one, I can presume that you will take a short time to get over it. But if unfortunately, the relationship was long and trusted, it is understandable that you will take even longer to truly get over it and start life afresh.

The point I am trying to make here is that you must give yourself adequate time to recharge and recuperate. The best way to assess when to start afresh, is perhaps listen closely to your heart. If you are still feeling forlorn, perhaps it is not the right moment to begin. If you hate the whole idea of starting the dating game all over again, sorry, your time is not right yet.

You wait for that same spark that triggers, that same chemistry that starts it all. Now you are more mature you are aware that if there is happiness, there ought to be a little pain too, but you are prepared to go through the drill all over again. Somewhat like when you have taken a break and yearn to go back to work.

Relax, dont get overworked about it. Take your own time. Get busy with things that take your mind completely off such issues. Like cowboy movies, snowboarding, sweating it out at the gym and the like. What you are doing here is recharge and rejuvenate your batteries. Look at the players in any game; they take a break during the game. Same applies to you.

Remember one golden rule: the chances of meeting the woman who is nearly heaven-sent, someone who has a marriageable prospect and with whom you can have a mutually viable, supportive, caring and stimulating life in other words, the chosen one, is one in a million!

No kidding, but the woman who you decide to spend the rest of your life with, will be difficult to come by and it takes quite a while to find her.

Unfortunately a lot of women are shallow with hardly any grey matter, whose minds closed a long time ago or never opened in the first place, and big disappointments be prepared to come across them, as they are available aplenty! Remember, success in life depends a lot on the timing meeting the right person at the right time. The reality however is that the right woman is mostly available at the wrong place at the wrong time and mostly with the wrong guy!

There are equal numbers of men and women who lament over not meeting Mr Right or Miss Right all because of timing. Also, if your Wish List is long as to what you need from your long-term partner, the chances are that you will require equally long time to find her.

So what is the good side of the story? Well, all this means that you will be a very rich man in the end, rich in experience about women and how to follow the path that brings you joy and lasting happiness. And if you are true to your self and decide not to become a martyr in the process of having a relationship with a woman, you will surely emerge a winner. Remember, at the end of the day, there are so many (amazing) women, and yet so little time!
